Saab Inc.'s Autonomous and Undersea Systems (AUS) division is a world-class team recognized for its technical accomplishments and vision in the maritime and defense sectors. Empowered by talented engineers, the group keeps pushing the boundaries of technology to create safer and more sustainable solutions for nations. The AUS division specifically focuses on defining, architecting, and delivering software products for autonomous Unmanned Surface/Underwater Vehicles (USVs/UUVs/AUVs) and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs).

About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the Saab AUS team, helping to expand our portfolio of products and capabilities while gaining tremendous experience with unmanned maritime software and systems. Unlike many software positions, this role offers a unique perspective: you will see how your efforts contribute to the entire lifecycle and success of a delivered system, from design to verification. You may even have the chance to witness the systems you build operated at sea.

You will solve difficult problems and help deliver systems that provide needed capabilities to our customers. Working within a collaborative team, you will engage with the full software product lifecycle, including development, prototyping, integration, and support. This is an opportunity to work on challenging projects that directly support the U.S. Armed Forces and international partners.
