Saab Inc.'s Autonomous and Undersea Systems (AUS) division is a world-class team recognized for its technical accomplishments and vision in the maritime and defense sectors. Empowered by talented engineers, the group pushes the boundaries of technology to create safer and more sustainable solutions for the U.S. Armed Forces, the Federal Aviation Administration, and international partners. The AUS team is dedicated to defining, architecting, and delivering software products for autonomous Unmanned Surface/Underwater Vehicles (USVs/UUVs/AUVs) and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs).
About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer on the AUS team, you will be a key contributor to expanding our portfolio of products and capabilities. Unlike many software positions, this role offers a unique perspective: you will see how your efforts contribute to the entire lifecycle and success of a delivered system, from design and prototyping to verification and delivery. You may even have the chance to witness the systems you build operated at sea.
You will join a collaborative environment where you solve difficult problems to provide needed capabilities to our customers. This position is ideal for an innovative engineer who wants to gain tremendous experience with unmanned maritime software and systems while working on challenging technical problems that require a deep understanding of the full product lifecycle.

Requirements
