Saab Inc.'s Autonomous and Undersea Systems (AUS) division is a world-class team recognized for its technical accomplishments and vision in the maritime and defense sectors. As a leading defense and security company, Saab's enduring purpose is to help nations keep their people and society safe. The AUS team is dedicated to expanding its portfolio of products and technologies, delivering advanced systems that support the U.S. Armed Forces, the Federal Aviation Administration, and international partners.
We are seeking an innovative Senior Software Engineer to join technical teams defining, architecting, and maintaining software for autonomous Unmanned Surface/Underwater Vehicles (USVs/UUVs/AUVs) and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs). This role is designed for a key contributor who will help evolve how unmanned maritime systems operate end-to-end.
Unlike many software positions, this role offers a unique perspective on the entire product lifecycle. You will see how your efforts contribute to the success of a delivered system, with the potential to witness that system operated at sea. You will solve difficult problems and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver capabilities that provide real-world value to our customers.
Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

We are an Equal Employment Opportunity employer, and all qualified individuals are encouraged to apply without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, veteran status, disability status, or any other federal, state, or locally protected category.
