About the Role
We are seeking an innovative Senior Software Engineer to join technical teams defining, architecting, and maintaining software for autonomous Unmanned Surface/Underwater Vehicles (USVs/UUVs/AUVs) and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs). This role is designed for a key contributor who will help evolve how unmanned maritime systems operate end-to-end.
Unlike many software positions, this role offers a unique perspective on the entire product lifecycle. You will see how your efforts contribute to the success of a delivered system, with the potential to witness that system operated at sea. You will solve difficult problems and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver capabilities that provide real-world value to our customers.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years
- verifiedProgramming languages: C/C++, Python
- verifiedScripting languages: Linux/Unix Shells, Matlab
- verifiedIntegrated Development Environments: Eclipse, GNU, VS Code, Microsoft Visual Studio, Arduino
- verifiedVersion control systems: SVN, Git
- verifiedIssue tracking: Jira or similar
- verifiedMS Office: Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook
- verifiedExperience with agile development methodologies including Scrum

Nice to Have
Prior experience with U.S. defense programs. Experience developing products/solutions for Naval and Marine applications (including robotic systems). Experience with bare-metal embedded software development.
