Saab Inc.'s Autonomous and Undersea Systems (AUS) division is a world-class team recognized for its technical accomplishments and vision in the maritime and defense sectors. Empowered by talented engineers, the group pushes the boundaries of technology to create safer and more sustainable solutions for the U.S. Armed Forces, the Federal Aviation Administration, and international partners. The AUS division focuses on defining, architecting, and delivering software products for autonomous Unmanned Surface/Underwater Vehicles (USVs/UUVs/AUVs) and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs).

About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the Saab AUS team, helping to expand our portfolio of products and capabilities while gaining tremendous experience with unmanned maritime software and systems. Unlike many software positions, you will see how your efforts contribute to the entire lifecycle and success of a delivered system, from design and prototyping to verification and support. You may even have the chance to witness the systems you help build operated at sea.

You will solve difficult problems and collaborate with a team of engineers to create innovative solutions that provide needed capabilities to our customers. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on challenging projects where your technical contributions directly impact national security and maritime operations.

Hiring Process

Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and hold or be able to obtain a U.S. DoD SECRET security clearance.
