We are seeking a hands-on Senior Test Technician to support the early-stage development and testing of electrical enclosures designed for high-density liquid cooling systems. This position is critical for advancing technologies used in high-performance computing and data center applications.
The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of electromechanical testing experience and HVAC industry background. You will work closely with engineers to build prototypes, assemble complex test setups, and execute experimental testing as new cooling and enclosure technologies are developed. Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAssemble and modify prototype electrical enclosures and liquid cooling system components
- check_circleSet up and run experimental lab tests on cooling systems, pumps, and electromechanical components
- check_circleBuild and configure test rigs including pumps, tubing, sensors, wiring, and instrumentation
- check_circleOperate lab equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, thermocouples, and flow meters
- check_circleCollect and record test data, observations, and performance measurements during experiments
- check_circleAssist engineers with hands-on troubleshooting, system modifications, and iterative prototype builds
- check_circleFabricate and modify basic mechanical assemblies, wiring, and plumbing connections for liquid cooling loops
- check_circleMaintain lab equipment, tools, and test benches to support ongoing R&D activities
- check_circleFollow lab safety procedures and maintain an organized working environment
Requirements
- verifiedAssociate degree or technical certification in Electromechanical Technology, HVAC, Electrical Technology, or similar field
