At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS), we tackle the world's most formidable challenges within the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors (IWSS) organization. Our mission is to invent solutions where none exist yet, pushing the boundaries of Electronic Protection to stay ahead of adversaries in the ever-evolving landscape of Electronic Warfare.
We collaborate with the top Radar engineers across our Moorestown, NJ, and Syracuse, NY sites. Our Electronic Protection team brings together systems engineers and sensor architects dedicated to delivering quality designs and cutting-edge capabilities to a broad array of customers, including the Missile Defense Agency, U.S. military branches (Navy, Air Force, Army, Space Force), and international partners such as Japan, Canada, Spain, Norway, Australia, and the UK.
As a Senior Systems Engineer – Radar Electronic Protection, you will join a team of the brightest minds to drive innovation in a field defined by complexity. This role exists to ensure our Radar systems remain resilient against evolving threats. You will engage in a dynamic day-to-day workflow that blends high-level architecture with hands-on technical execution.
You will develop models and detailed simulations to support system design evaluation and conduct data analysis to assess performance. Your work involves writing verification plans and test procedures that maintain traceability to system and software specifications. You will actively support integration and test efforts, investigating discrepancies and driving anomalies to resolution while participating in landmark reviews with internal and external customers, senior leadership, and multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
This is a role for those who enjoy thinking outside the box and seeking a collaborative environment. You will have the opportunity to architect new designs, dig into the nuances of algorithm performance, develop novel models, and support the live testing of tactical systems. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers and share your knowledge of Electronic Protection concepts.
Lockheed Martin values your unique skills and expertise, aiming to support a flexible, healthy, and fulfilling life both inside and outside of work. We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to help you thrive. If you are looking for a career where hard work is the fun part and life-long learning is the norm, the Electronic Protection team is the place for you.
