About the Team
At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS), we tackle the world's most formidable challenges within the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors (IWSS) organization. Our mission is to seek innovative ideas and creative solutions for seemingly impossible problems, collaborating with top-tier Radar engineers across our Moorestown, NJ, and Syracuse, NY sites. We are dedicated to inventing solutions where none exist, pushing the boundaries of Electronic Protection to stay ahead of adversaries in the evolving landscape of Electronic Warfare.
Our Electronic Protection team consists of systems engineers and sensor architects working in unison to deliver quality designs and cutting-edge capabilities. We support a broad array of Radar products for major customers including the Missile Defense Agency, US Navy, Air Force, US Army, Space Force, and international partners such as Japan, Canada, Spain, Norway, Australia, and the UK.
About the Role
As a Senior Systems Engineer – Radar Electronic Protection, you will join a team of the brightest minds in the world. This role is designed for those seeking a lifetime of challenge where hard work is the fun part. You will partner with internal and external customers, program leadership, and multi-disciplinary engineering teams to evolve how Radar systems are designed and verified.
Your day will involve developing models and detailed simulations to support system design evaluation, conducting data analysis to assess performance, and writing verification plans with traceability to specifications. You will support integration and test activities, investigate discrepancies, and drive anomalies to resolution. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge of Electronic Protection concepts and participating in landmark reviews of Radar System products.
