About the Team
We are seeking a Senior Quant Engineer to join the Quantitative Research & Investments Technology (QRIT) team within Fidelity Asset Management Technology. Our mission is to partner with quant research and investments teams to design, build, enhance, and support a comprehensive Systematic Fixed Income research and portfolio construction ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of advanced quantitative strategy and robust software engineering, requiring hands-on development alongside a team of software engineers and quantitative developers.
About the Role
In this position, you will serve as a critical bridge between complex financial requirements and scalable technical solutions. You will collaborate with senior internal and external clients to capture requirements, formulate strategic plans, and influence decisions across the organization. The day-to-day involves architecting systems using modern design patterns, OOP, and functional programming principles, while ensuring seamless integration of data services. You will work within an AWS cloud environment, leveraging CI/CD and DevOps practices to maintain a high-performing, reliable infrastructure that supports critical portfolio construction and optimization workflows.
