We are seeking a Senior Quant Engineer to join the Quantitative Research & Investments Technology (QRIT) team within Fidelity Asset Management Technology. Our mission is to partner with quant research and investments teams to design, build, enhance, and support a comprehensive Systematic Fixed Income research and portfolio construction ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of finance and engineering, requiring hands-on development collaboration with a team of software engineers and quantitative developers to drive innovation in our investment technology stack.
In this position, you will serve as a key technical partner, bridging the gap between complex quantitative strategies and robust software solutions. You will be responsible for architecting and implementing systems that empower our researchers and portfolio managers. The day-to-day involves engaging with senior internal and external clients to capture requirements, formulate technical plans, and influence decisions across the organization. Success in this role requires a strong foundation in system architecture, design patterns, and software engineering fundamentals, alongside the ability to navigate the regulatory landscape governing Fidelity's business.

Master's degree in a computational field. Experience in Asset Management. Experience integrating data services with Excel or other UI like Angular. Prior quant dev experience with Fixed Income asset class. Demonstrated experience with portfolio construction and/or portfolio optimization.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a computational field such as Computer Science required; Master's degree preferred.
