About the Role
As a Senior Product Designer, you will be a key architect of FMX's future, shaping the user experience of our software through a unique, AI-accelerated design process. This role is distinct because it moves beyond traditional handoffs; you will work side-by-side with engineers as "concept builders" during the creation phase. Together, you will co-build high-fidelity, coded prototypes to validate solutions with customers before full-scale delivery.
Your day will involve rapidly exploring workflows and UI patterns using modern AI-powered tools, translating rough concepts into testable artifacts, and running formative usability tests to drive immediate iteration. You will design natural language and automated experiences, ensuring that what we validate is meaningful, testable, and customer-ready. Beyond execution, you will mentor other designers, contribute to our design systems, and help drive product strategy.
Hiring Process

- Phone Screen: A 30-minute conversation with HR to review your background, discuss FMX culture, and clarify role expectations.
- Hiring Manager Conversation: A 60-minute discussion with the VP of Product and a designer to review your portfolio, career goals, and team fit.
- Final Panel Interview: A 60-minute session with Product, Design, and Engineering teammates to review your portfolio and discuss your approach.
- Offer & Onboarding: Successful candidates will complete a background check. New hires are expected to work onsite at our Columbus, OH office for their first week to complete onboarding and connect with the team in person.

Requirements
