About the Role

As a Senior Principal Platform IAC Engineer, you will lead a small technical team in developing and maintaining a modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solution. This role serves as the backbone for product development and testing for a critical, strategic national asset, supporting a hybrid-cloud environment that includes servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware.

The position blends hands-on keyboard engineering with documentation and baseline control. You will leverage industry best practices to deploy, modernize, and support IaC solutions, while leading the integration of container development and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes/Docker). Your work will optimize build and test pipelines for performance and scalability across on-premise and cloud environments, ensuring the team utilizes tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Consul effectively.

This onsite position is based in Richardson, TX, with occasional travel to customer sites for upgrade and implementation activities as necessary.

Hiring Process and Application

This position requires an active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance (TS/SCI with Polygraph) on day one. U.S. citizenship is mandatory as only citizens are eligible for this clearance level. The DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services handles the clearance process.
