About the Team
Allspring Global Investments is seeking a Senior Portfolio Analyst to join our Portfolio Accounting team. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, where you will initiate and lead improvements across portfolio accounting and performance functions. You will serve as a key partner in deploying new products and services, ensuring the team maintains high standards of accuracy and efficiency while managing complex derivatives and daily cash support.
About the Role
In this hybrid position based in Milwaukee, WI, you will act as a leader within the operations landscape. Your day-to-day involves effectively managing escalation efforts with custodians and other parties to resolve discrepancies and address root causes. You will identify opportunities to reduce risk and increase efficiencies, while potentially overseeing team lead responsibilities such as month-end reconciliations and management metrics reporting. Success in this role requires clear communication with custodians, internal operational teams, investment contacts, and relationship managers to build sound working relationships and articulate risks and solutions to various levels of management.
Work Environment
We operate in a hybrid working model, requiring team members to work in the office four days per week. This setup fosters a collaborative business environment where you will work in close quarters with peers, balancing focused task execution with the dynamic nature of a changing operational landscape.
