This role is based in our Plymouth, MN location within the Structural Heart division. The mission of the Structural Heart Business is to restore health and improve quality of life by designing and providing device and management solutions for treating structural heart disease. The team operates in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse environment, fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams to drive innovation and product quality.
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures to meet daily production schedules while enhancing productivity and product quality. You will have the opportunity to manage projects involving new production equipment, process improvements, and cost reductions, while supporting new product introductions. This position requires you to be innovative and resourceful, working with minimal direction to solve complex problems. You will provide technical mentorship to engineers and technicians, conduct Process FMEAs and validations, and leverage Lean manufacturing concepts to improve labor efficiency and throughput. Success in this role involves coordinating the design and implementation of machinery and test equipment while ensuring Design for Manufacturability through close collaboration with Product Development.
