About the Role
This position serves as the strategic leader for the construction of data centers delivered by colocation providers. The role exists to ensure that complex infrastructure projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As the primary point of contact between the company and external colocation providers, you will bridge the gap between internal business needs and external execution, managing the full lifecycle from design review and contract negotiation to startup and commissioning.
In this role, you will direct multiple project teams, providing strategic oversight while resolving critical issues that arise during project cycles. Your day-to-day involves supervising comprehensive site walks, managing the integration of tenant fit-out projects, and ensuring that all construction activities align with approved design plans. You will lead the management of quality control processes and risk mitigation strategies, communicating potential impacts to senior management to drive informed decision-making. Ultimately, you will ensure the successful installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
