The US Commercial Nuclear business unit serves both legacy and new build nuclear clients who are designing, building, upgrading, operating and maintaining nuclear power generation and fuel cycle assets. Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSpecify and select instruments, control elements, and control systems for reactor plants
- check_circleCreate and maintain instrumentation documentation including calculations, drawings, and specifications
- check_circleDevelop software for control systems or prepare software specifications
- check_circleSupport installation and construction by developing control system validation protocols
- check_circleEnsure plant instrumentation complies with nuclear safety requirements
- check_circleDesign, develop, and maintain I&C systems for nuclear industry applications
- check_circlePlan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of I&C work
- check_circleGuide, mentor, and review work of junior engineers and designers
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- verified5 years post-baccalaureate experience
- verifiedU.S. citizenship
- verifiedKnowledge of key design codes and standards for commercial nuclear facilities
- verifiedWorking knowledge of SmartPlant
- verifiedExperience with programming industrial control systems
- verifiedPE License desired
