Raytheon's Receiver/Exciter & Processing Architecture (REPA) Department is the focal point for receiver, exciter, beam steering, and signal processing technology within Raytheon. The department is responsible for the design, development, integration, and support to production builds, and lifecycle support of Raytheon products.
This position serves as a multi-discipline Senior Hardware Production Support Engineer, acting as the critical liaison between design engineers, the factory, and suppliers. You will be responsible for solving design and manufacturing problems while providing highly innovative solutions across product assembly, integration, test, statistical process control, and transition to production applications. In this capacity, you will collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve production and transition issues, ensuring seamless product delivery.
This is a 1st shift, 100% onsite role based in Tewksbury, MA. The position requires frequent travel to multiple sites, including Andover, MA, and infrequent travel to Tucson, AZ (approximately two times per year). Candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations.
This position requires an active DoD Secret security clearance. U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. The DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Experience in failure analysis / Root-Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, preferably with supplier and factory issues. Experience working in a laboratory environment using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, phase noise analyzer (PNA), spectrum analyzers, real time spectrum analyzers, and performance network analyzers to test and verify the functions of digital and RF signal circuits and subsystems. Experience in a production environment. Experience in applying Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods in achieving production yield improvements. Technical writing and formal presentation experience.
