Raytheon's Receiver/Exciter & Processing Architecture (REPA) Department is the focal point for receiver, exciter, beam steering, and signal processing technology within the company. This department is responsible for the design, development, integration, and support to production builds, and lifecycle support of Raytheon products.
As a Senior Hardware Production Support Engineer, you will serve as the critical liaison between design engineers, the factory, and suppliers. You will be responsible for working with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve production and transition-to-production issues. This role is designed for a multi-discipline engineer capable of solving complex design and manufacturing problems while providing innovative solutions across product assembly, integration, test, statistical process control, and production transitions.
This is a 1st shift, 100% onsite role based in Tewksbury, MA (50 Apple Hill Dr, Assabet Bldg). The position requires frequent travel to multiple sites, including Andover, MA, and infrequent travel to Tucson, AZ (approximately twice per year).
Candidates must be U.S. citizens, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required DoD Secret security clearance. The ability to obtain and maintain this clearance is mandatory, and an active clearance is required after day one. The DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.

Experience in failure analysis / Root-Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, preferably with supplier and factory issues. Experience working in a laboratory environment using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, phase noise analyzer (PNA), spectrum analyzers, real time spectrum analyzers, and performance network analyzers to test and verify the functions of digital and RF signal circuits and subsystems. Experience in a production environment. Experience in applying Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods in achieving production yield improvements. Technical writing and formal presentation experience.
