Key Responsibilities
- check_circleArchitect and implement performant, scalable frontend systems for AV mapping applications
- check_circleDesign intuitive user interfaces to visualize complex geospatial and mapping data
- check_circleCollaborate with backend and simulation teams to define robust data contracts
- check_circleLead the frontend development lifecycle by defining milestones and aligning stakeholders
- check_circleOptimize rendering performance for large-scale map data and real-time updates
- check_circleServe as a Subject Matter Expert in frontend architecture and visualization frameworks
- check_circleContribute to roadmap planning and hiring strategies to grow frontend expertise
- check_circleConduct design reviews and enforce UI/UX best practices and code quality standards
Requirements
- verified5+ years of experience building production-grade frontend applications
- verifiedBachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
- verifiedStrong proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and state management libraries
- verifiedExperience with geospatial data, map rendering libraries, or data visualization frameworks
- verifiedFamiliarity with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and GraphQL
Nice to Have
7+ years of experience building and maintaining production-grade frontend applications. Experience with AV mapping systems, HD map data pipelines, or automated cartographic error detection. Knowledge of computer vision or machine learning workflows related to map labeling or perception. Deep experience with Node.js internals and performance tuning. Experience designing performant geospatial services, coordinate systems, and transforms.
