About the Team
This requisition is part of Pearson’s K-12 School Technology group, which develops innovative assessment technology platforms. The team delivers exams to test takers, scores results, and reports outcomes. They are currently building the next generation of assessment platforms and experiences, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies and processes to bolster their staff in this critical work area.
About the Role
We are looking for outstanding candidates to join a collaborative, agile, and results-driven team. Senior Full-Stack Developers will have a problem-solving mindset and thrive in a fast-paced innovation environment. You will work closely with the code during the start-up phases of developing cutting-edge applications. Since the business provides a mission-critical service to a demanding set of clients, high-quality performance is required to meet customer expectations.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent technology discipline
- verifiedExperience as a fullstack engineer with Go, Javascript/Typescript, VueJS, Python, Postgres, MongoDB
- verifiedExperience with Cloud AWS hosted applications
- verifiedSoftware development experience creating SaaS applications
- verifiedExperience with development, maintenance, and testing of software following industry best practices
- verifiedExperience with highly available, highly concurrent web-based applications
- verifiedExperience with GIT or similar VCS tools
- verifiedExperience working in an agile environment
