The Opportunity
In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.
We are seeking an experienced, high caliber Senior Field Clinical Specialist – Electrophysiology for our Southwest region. This position will be primarily responsible for demonstrated and consistent technical and clinical support to the Clinical Affairs Organization, with specific focus on Electrophysiology (EP) Business Unit technologies and therapy areas.
This individual will provide field support of clinical research study procedures with Abbott EP BU technologies, as well as accurate technical support/troubleshooting, project and/or territory management, general field image representation for Abbott, and field input to EP BU product management groups. You will function as an expert resource for covering clinical studies/procedures, handling challenging technical/protocol troubleshooting scenarios, critical software or product testing, product or project advisory boards, and high‑profile presentations while collaborating with the sites and other cross‑functional partners on EP BU clinical studies.
This position is field‑based and remote to candidates located in the Southwestern United States. Candidates must be willing to travel up to 75% during active Clinical Trial Enrollment Periods.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor’s degree in engineering, biological sciences, or related field
- verifiedEquivalent or related certification in Electrophysiology/Cardiology
- verified3 or more years of relevant clinical work experience in Electrophysiology
- verifiedEP Clinical background and field-based experience preferred
- verifiedExperience using MS Office Suite
- verifiedHigh level of competency in EP Lab procedures
- verifiedAbility to travel up to 75% during active trial enrollment periods
