Wilcox develops innovative, world-class electro-mechanical combat systems for today's warfighters and law enforcement officers. As a U.S. government defense contractor, we deliver best-in-class products that our customers trust with their lives.
Senior Electrical Engineers are a core component of our development team, serving as the technical authority for hardware development. You will work closely with Firmware Engineers, System Engineers, Quality Engineers, Program Managers, external partners, and customers to ensure Wilcox stays on the leading edge of technology and innovation.
In this role, you will own large-scale hardware projects and complex system designs, collaborating with cross-functional leads to define requirements and long-term roadmaps. Your work involves strategic decision-making to balance performance, cost, and time-to-market while ensuring robust design practices. You will provide guidance on EMC challenges, lead pre-compliance and compliance testing efforts, and conduct high-level electromagnetic and circuit simulations to validate design architecture decisions early.
Beyond technical execution, you will mentor junior and mid-level engineers, conduct thorough design reviews, and support onsite supplier quality audits. This position requires regular on-site attendance in a production environment where you will handle tools and equipment used for prototyping.
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access U.S. government-controlled technology prior to beginning work. U.S. citizenship is required for this position due to the nature of the export-controlled technology involved.
Wilcox is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse workforce.
