About the Role
We are seeking an unarmed Security Officer to join our team in Carol Stream. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and security of our clients. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, greeting all customers with a professional demeanor and maintaining an impeccable image at all times. Your day will involve monitoring access control procedures, utilizing CCTV systems effectively, and remaining vigilant to prevent theft. You will also be responsible for documenting and reporting any suspicious activity or incidents accurately, ensuring that our clients' environments remain secure and welcoming.
Work Schedule
This position covers day shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., operating Friday through Tuesday. The role includes an 8-hour shift structure with availability required for weekends and holidays.
Hiring Process
All applicants must complete a pre-employment screening process, which includes a drug screening. Successful candidates will be required to obtain a valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) or apply for one, and complete a 20-hour training certificate within 30 days of employment.
