As a Security Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the continuous improvement of our Security Operations Center (SOC). This role exists to support the engineering, implementation, and optimization of the security technologies, telemetry integrations, detection content, and automation capabilities that enable effective enterprise security monitoring and incident response. You will work closely with SOC analysts, enterprise IT teams, and platform owners to ensure the reliability, scalability, and operational effectiveness of our security monitoring capabilities.
In this position, you will help strengthen the organization's cybersecurity posture by enhancing monitoring coverage, improving detection quality, and optimizing engineering workflows. You will provide technical expertise during security investigations, threat hunting, and incident response activities, ensuring our systems remain resilient against evolving threats. This is a remote opportunity designed for professionals who want to make a tangible difference in securing critical national infrastructure.
Candidates selected for this role must be able and willing to obtain a US Security Clearance. The selection process involves a review of qualifications, followed by interviews to assess technical expertise and cultural fit. Successful candidates will be expected to participate in on-call support rotations to assist with security incident response and maintain continuous SOC coverage.

Experience supporting cloud and SaaS security monitoring integrations. Familiarity with integrating cyber threat intelligence (CTI) feeds into security tooling. Experience analyzing large-scale security telemetry and log data. Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills.
