Role Summary
This position reports to the company headquarters located in Irving, Texas. The role involves leading the design, development, and customization of Salesforce applications. Consultants will architect and implement complex business solutions on the Salesforce platform, utilizing technologies such as Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Development & Architecture: Lead the creation and customization of Salesforce applications using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and other relevant Salesforce technologies. Design and implement scalable, complex business solutions.
- Collaboration & Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and architects to collect requirements and translate them into robust technical designs.
- System Integration: Integrate Salesforce with external systems utilizing REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and third-party tools.
- Quality Assurance & Mentorship: Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Deployment Management: Manage software deployments using Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure high performance and system reliability. Stay updated on Salesforce releases and evaluate new features for potential adoption.
- Delivery & Standards: Deliver fully tested software, including reviewed code and designs, ensuring all solutions comply with established standards.
- Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support for existing business systems by maintaining and enhancing Salesforce applications. Address complex customer service tickets and advise user departments on resolving specific or complex problems.
- Industry Specialization: May be assigned to provide products and support to specific industry groups, including Retail & Logistics, Automotive, Banking and Finance, Healthcare, Insurance, and Information Technology.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field of study.
- Experience: Five (5) years of experience in an occupation involving Information Technology (IT) or a related area.
Employment Type & Work Schedule
This is a roving/telecommuting position. While the employee reports to the headquarters in Irving, TX, the role requires working at various unknown client sites throughout the United States for up to 100% of the time. Candidates must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the country. Remote or telecommuting work options are available.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $156,998 to $157,998.
