Coca-Cola Sales Merchandiser

Job Description
About the Role
Coca-Cola is seeking dedicated Sales Merchandisers to ensure the brand's presence is strong and consistent across retail environments. This role is essential for maintaining the availability and appeal of Coca-Cola beverage products in grocery stores, convenience stores, and big box locations. As a Sales Merchandiser, you will be the face of the brand on the floor, working independently to uphold company merchandising standards and ensure customers have access to fresh products.
Day in the Life
Your day begins with preparing for your assigned route, which involves traveling to multiple store locations. Upon arrival, you will collaborate with store managers to assess inventory levels and coordinate with delivery trucks to unload products. Your primary focus will be on the sales floor and backroom areas: stocking shelves, filling coolers, and building promotional displays that attract customer attention.
A key part of the role involves maintaining product freshness and organization. You will rotate stock to ensure older products are sold first and organize backroom inventory for efficient restocking. Throughout the day, you will communicate with store management to address any inventory needs and ensure that all displays meet Coca-Cola’s specific merchandising guidelines. You will also be responsible for tracking inventory levels to prevent stockouts and ensuring that all safety procedures and route schedules are followed.
Why Join Coca-Cola?
This position offers more than just a job; it provides a pathway for growth within a global leader. Full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) with company match. The role also includes paid time off, paid holidays, and mileage reimbursement for travel between stores.
Beyond compensation, Coca-Cola values internal advancement. Sales Merchandisers have the opportunity to grow their careers by advancing into roles such as Route Sales Representative or Account Manager. Additionally, depending on your location and route performance, you may be eligible for overtime pay, holiday pay, and performance-based bonuses tied to sales volume, display execution, and store performance.
