About the Role
As a Rover pet sitter or dog walker, you provide essential care services to pets in need. Your role involves a variety of tasks including dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding pets, refilling water, cleaning litter boxes, picking up waste, and providing companionship. You also offer overnight pet sitting when requested by the owner's request.
How It Works
You manage your own business through the Rover platform. This includes setting your own schedules and service rates. You communicate directly with pet owners by sending updates and photos to send them updates and photos of their pets. You have the autonomy to operate independently as a pet care provider.
Compensation and Benefits
Earnings are typically equivalent to $15–$25+ per hour, but you set your own rates and may earn additional income through tips and holiday bookings.
