About the Role
As a Rover pet sitter or dog walker, you provide essential care services to pets in your community. Your role involves a variety of tasks including dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding pets, refilling water, cleaning litter boxes, picking up waste, providing companionship, and overnight pet sitting when requested. You serve as a trusted partner to pet owners, ensuring their animals are well-cared for while they are away.
How It Works
You operate independently as a pet care provider through the Rover platform. You have full autonomy over your business: you manage your own schedules, set your own service rates, and communicate directly with pet owners by sending updates and photos. This flexibility allows you to build your own client base and tailor your services to fit your lifestyle and preferences.
