About the Role

The Housekeeping Inspector/Checker is a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for inspecting cleaned guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to maintain compliance with health, sanitation, and brand standards.

In this position, you will not only inspect rooms but also assist in the preparation of guest rooms, ensuring all surfaces, furniture, and fixtures meet Springwood and Brand Standards. You will manage room keys, restock carts, and coordinate room assignments for Room Attendants. Additionally, you will play a key role in the laundry department by sorting, washing, and distributing linen, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of housekeeping carts and closets.

You will operate heavy machinery, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you inspect door and window locks, report maintenance deficiencies, and ensure the safety and security of hotel property. A friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor is essential as you contribute to the overall performance of the department.
