About the Role
The Roll-Off Driver is responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously providing waste removal services to customers across multiple lines of business. In this role, you will collect waste from customer sites and transport it to post-collection facilities for proper disposal. You will serve as the face of the company, maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance while interacting with customers and the general public on your route.
Working Environment
This position is primarily an outdoor role, conducted 100% of the time in various weather conditions, including rain, storms, and extreme heat or cold. Drivers operate away from the branch location on a continuous basis throughout the day, navigating motor vehicle traffic and occasionally working in high or precarious places. The environment is typically loud and may expose employees to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and airborne particles.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleOperate roll-off truck and ancillary equipment to collect waste from customer sites
- check_circleComplete pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and daily documentation reports
- check_circleMaintain clean vehicle by cleaning cab interior and exterior daily
- check_circleEnsure all required personal protective equipment is worn at all times
- check_circleMaintain accurate records of services performed and attend safety meetings
- check_circleCommunicate vehicle mechanical problems and potential hazards to supervisors immediately
- check_circleMaintain route quality standards and improve routing efficiencies with supervisors
- check_circleReport all accidents or incidents to supervisors immediately
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school diploma or GED desired
- verifiedValid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- verifiedMinimum one year commercial driving experience OR CDL school certificate
- verifiedValid work authorization in the country where the job is located
