Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients across acute care settings
- check_circlePerform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs for condition changes
- check_circleAdminister medications, IV therapies, and treatments in accordance with provider orders
- check_circleDocument assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly in the electronic medical record
- check_circleCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- check_circleEducate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, procedures, and discharge instructions
- check_circleMaintain strict infection prevention standards and adhere to isolation protocols
- check_circleParticipate in safe handoffs, shift reports, and interdisciplinary rounds to ensure continuity of care
- check_circleAdapt quickly to new units, hospital systems, and workflows while demonstrating professionalism
- check_circleCoordinate with recruiters to complete required onboarding, licensing, and compliance for assignments
Requirements
- verifiedActive, unrestricted RN license in state of practice (and/or compact license as applicable)
- verifiedBLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- verifiedACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred or required depending on unit
- verifiedAdditional unit-specific certifications such as PALS, NRP, or TNCC as applicable
- verifiedMinimum recent acute care hospital experience in a relevant specialty
- verifiedImmunizations, TB testing, and other occupational health clearances per facility requirements
- verifiedAbility to meet travel nursing compliance and credentialing standards, including background checks and drug screening
Nice to Have
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification (preferred or required depending on unit). Additional unit-specific certifications such as PALS, NRP, or TNCC as applicable.
