About the Opportunity
Solutions by Sanford is seeking an experienced RN Traveler to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In partnership with Medical Solutions, you'll enjoy flexible travel assignments that match your clinical skills and career goals. Your Day-to-Day
As a traveling RN, you will adapt quickly to new units, hospital systems, and workflows, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism in every assignment. Your day involves performing comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring vital signs, and recognizing changes in patient condition. You will administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments accurately in accordance with provider orders and facility policies.
Collaboration is key; you will work with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. You'll also educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, procedures, and discharge instructions to promote understanding and self-care. Maintaining strict infection prevention standards and supporting a positive, inclusive work environment by communicating respectfully with teammates are essential parts of your role.

Requirements
- verifiedActive, unrestricted RN license in state of practice (and/or compact license as applicable)
- verifiedBLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- verifiedACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred or required depending on unit
- verifiedAdditional unit-specific certifications such as PALS, NRP, or TNCC as applicable
- verifiedMinimum recent acute care hospital experience in a relevant specialty
- verifiedImmunizations, TB testing, and other occupational health clearances per facility requirements
- verifiedAbility to meet travel nursing compliance and credentialing standards, including background checks and drug screening
Nice to Have
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification (preferred or required depending on unit). Additional unit-specific certifications such as PALS, NRP, or TNCC as applicable.
