This position acts as a leader in the provision of patient care, utilizing the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, the ANA Code for Nurses, and the Scope & Standards of Practice. You will effectively delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members while assuming accountability for quality patient outcomes.
In this role, you will exhibit sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity in all interactions and maintain involvement in activities aimed at achieving unit and departmental strategic goals. You will demonstrate professional responsibility for your own practice and support the company's philosophy of nursing. Your day-to-day involves assessing learning needs, implementing teaching strategies for diverse patient populations, and communicating effectively with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal outcomes.
