About the Role
Hartford Healthcare seeks an RN for our Emergency Department, a fast-paced environment where you will triage and provide evidence-based care to diverse patients. In this role, you will collaborate with ED physicians and multidisciplinary teams to administer medications, manage interventions, and respond to emergencies. You will utilize cutting-edge technology to monitor patient status, document accurately in the EHR, and champion safety and quality standards.
Your day-to-day impact involves performing rapid assessments, delivering care to patients with acute and emergent conditions, and educating patients and families on diagnoses and discharge instructions. You will actively participate in codes and emergency response situations while contributing to process improvement and quality initiatives within the ED.
