As an RN Cardiac Services Rehab PRN, you will join a team dedicated to evolving how cardiac rehabilitation is delivered. Under supervision, you will be accountable for updating, implementing, and supervising cardiac rehabilitative exercise and education programs prescribed by referring physicians. This role is vital for recruiting clients into the Phase II cardiac rehab program and continuously improving the processes and services that support patient recovery.
Your day will involve adapting treatment techniques to serve a diverse population, from newborns to geriatric patients, while respecting cultural differences and spiritual needs. You will supervise exercise and education programs in accordance with established Wesley Medical Center policies, ensuring patient safety and cleanliness in the Cardiac Rehab department. Beyond clinical duties, you will manage operational supplies, complete necessary paperwork for reimbursement, and participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the department's efficiency.
