As a Registered Nurse in our Neurosurgery department, you will utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, from assessment and diagnosis to planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will coordinate care, conduct patient assessments and education, perform triage, and execute various nursing interventions. Collaboration with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, is central to planning and evaluating patient outcomes.
You will practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to age and population-specific standards. Your work will be grounded in the Sanford Professional Nursing Practice, which recognizes the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as published by the American Nurses Association as the foundation for care delivery and professional conduct.
This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with day shifts only. There are no weekend or holiday requirements, allowing for a consistent work-life balance. The role is full-time, with 40 hours per week.
