About the Role
This position is designed to support your long-term career development and can be structured to fit your current experience level. For early-career professionals, the role serves as a Retirement Plan Coordinator, providing a foundation in plan design, ERISA compliance, and recordkeeping operations. For experienced practitioners, the role expands into a Retirement Plan Consultant position, where you will play a key role in business development and firm growth.
In this role, you will partner with internal teams to deliver strategic consulting and fiduciary oversight. Your day-to-day involves preparing for and participating in client meetings, ranging from fiduciary reviews and benchmarking to participant education sessions. You will manage meeting logistics, track follow-up items, and ensure accountability across internal and external partners. Whether you are generating insights through retirement plan tools or supporting contribution updates and amendments, your work directly impacts the client experience.
Consultant-level team members will also actively contribute to business development initiatives, including proposal preparation, prospect meetings, and relationship-building with centers of influence. This role offers the opportunity to engage in professional and consultative sales conversations, focusing on client needs and relationship growth while expanding Gatewood's retirement consulting footprint.

Requirements
