The Restaurant General Manager serves as the executive leader of a single restaurant, driving profitability, guest satisfaction, people development, and operational excellence. Reporting to the District Manager, you will oversee a team of 20 to 45 employees, including Assistant Managers, Hourly Shift Coordinators, and Team Members. Your mission is to ensure the restaurant operates as a cohesive unit that delivers accurate, friendly, and fast service in a clean environment while meeting financial targets.
Your leadership extends beyond daily operations to fostering a culture of growth and engagement. You will actively manage the restaurant's P&L, reviewing key financial lines to drive sales and profitability. A significant portion of your day is dedicated to the guest experience, from motivating the team to exceed expectations to solving feedback issues by identifying root causes and implementing action plans. You will also engage with the local community to execute marketing initiatives and attract prospective guests.
On the people side, you will lead recruitment, onboarding, and certification processes. By providing continuous coaching and feedback to your management and hourly teams, you will build capabilities and raise overall performance. You will also ensure strict compliance with government regulations, employment laws, and brand standards, stepping in to perform duties of Assistant Managers or Shift Coordinators when necessary to support the team.
