About the Role
As a Travel Nurse in our Respiratory Unit, you will deliver advanced respiratory care to diverse patient populations across acute and sub-acute settings. This role is designed for nurses who value autonomy and variety, serving as a critical partner to interdisciplinary teams in managing complex patient needs. You will be at the forefront of patient recovery, administering oxygen therapy, managing ventilators, and providing non-invasive support.
In this position, you will adapt quickly to new facilities, EMR systems, and unit workflows, ensuring seamless care transitions. Your day-to-day involves performing comprehensive respiratory assessments, interpreting diagnostic tests like ABGs, and educating patients and families on disease management and equipment use. Whether managing mechanical ventilation or responding to emergencies, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of respiratory health.
