About the Role
We are seeking a Fuel Superintendent to lead high-visibility construction projects for large-scale fueling and energy centers across Hawaii and the Western U.S. This is a travel-heavy role where per diem and housing are fully covered for Hawaii projects. The position offers the chance to lead complex field operations from initial dirt work through final turnover, providing autonomy and the opportunity to grow with a company on a steep upward trajectory.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleCollaborate with Project Manager to create pre-construction estimates and budgets
- check_circleMonitor project budgets and communicate variances as they occur
- check_circleDevelop schedule and cost-effective plans for assigned fuel construction projects
- check_circleLay out full-scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment
- check_circleObtain required permits and licenses and execute construction contracts
- check_circleFollow company safety guidelines and communicate safety concerns to representatives
- check_circleCoordinate and schedule work activities of tradespeople, professionals, and laborers
- check_circleInspect work for quality and timeliness while preparing progress reports for owners
- check_circleModify, clean, and maintain pipe systems and related equipment following specifications
- check_circleCut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications using specialized tools
- check_circleMaintain records related to job costs and inventory for appropriate parties
Requirements
- verifiedHigh School Diploma or GED
- verifiedValid Driver's License/CDL required
- verified5+ years' experience in equipment operating, working with grades and reading blueprints
- verifiedExperience working with underground fuel piping for gas stations
- verifiedSupervisory experience within the construction industry required
- verifiedICC Certification to handle, install, and test both underground and above-ground piping preferred

Tribal project experience and permitting knowledge. ICC Certification to handle, install, and test both underground and above-ground piping.
