As a Relief Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in our Delivery Department, ensuring the safe and timely execution of product delivery and merchandising. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn multiple routes through hands-on "ride with" training and are ready to step in whenever coverage is needed. Your work directly impacts customer satisfaction by maintaining product freshness, maximizing sales, and minimizing returns in strict adherence to company programs and DOT regulations.
You will be the face of the company in every store you visit, ensuring displays and coolers remain neat, clean, and inviting. Beyond driving, you will actively engage with customers to collect payments, communicate with the sales team and supervisors, and handle product movement ranging from 25 to 165 lbs. This role offers a dynamic day-to-day environment where your work ethic and ability to operate various truck sizes and material handling equipment are essential to our mission of efficient service.
To join our team, candidates must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or demonstrate a strong commitment to training for one. We require a safe driving record, a high school education, and basic computing skills. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and capable of passing all pre-employment requirements, including a drug screen, physical examination, and background check.
