As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our clinic, you will be the backbone of patient care, providing professional nursing support to patients and families navigating gynecologic oncology. Your day will involve a blend of clinical expertise and compassionate communication, ensuring excellent care from the moment a patient walks through the door.
You will coordinate patient care activities, assist providers during procedures and examinations, and manage the flow of appointments to prioritize emergency situations. From screening patients and obtaining health histories to educating families on diagnostic processes and wellness maintenance, you will play a vital role in the patient journey. Additionally, you will maintain exam room readiness, manage medical supplies, and ensure strict adherence to lab protocols for pathology specimens.
