About the Greater Manchester Region

The Greater Manchester Region has approximately 2,500 employees. It includes Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 249-bed community hospital, and Rockville General, a 102-bed campus facility. The region also encompasses a large multispecialty provider group and visiting nurse services, serving a population of 300,000 people across 19 towns.

The Role

In this position, you will utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care. You will coordinate care by collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, patients, and families, communicating clinical conditions and responding quickly to changes in patient status. The role requires demonstrating knowledge of growth and development principles to provide age-appropriate care throughout the lifespan while promoting the nursing profession through collegial support.
