In the Cardiac Post CTICU, the Professional Registered Nurse provides quality nursing care in collaboration with the medical staff, adhering to the guidelines of the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act. This role is responsible for implementing the Hospital’s Mission and goals through established policies, procedures, and performance improvement activities.
The day-to-day focus involves the organization and administration of individualized, age-specific professional nursing care to patients within the assigned unit. A deep understanding of growth and development principles is incorporated to assess each patient's specific needs and determine appropriate treatment modalities. This position operates on the Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), with every other weekend required and varying weekday schedules depending on department needs.
Candidates selected for this position will be evaluated based on their educational background, skills, and professional experience. The compensation offered reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.
