Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene services including prophylaxis and periodontal scaling
- check_circleTake, expose, and evaluate dental radiographs in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
- check_circleReview and update patient medical and dental histories to identify risk factors and potential complications
- check_circleEducate patients and families on oral hygiene techniques, disease prevention, and treatment plans
- check_circleCollaborate with dentists and clinical staff to develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans
- check_circleMaintain strict infection control, sterilization, and OSHA/CDC compliance in all clinical areas
- check_circleMonitor and maintain hygiene operatory equipment, instruments, and supplies
- check_circleSupport patient flow and contribute to an efficient, patient-centered clinical environment
- check_circleParticipate in ongoing training, quality improvement initiatives, and community outreach activities
- check_circleConduct comprehensive periodontal and oral health assessments and document findings in electronic health records
Requirements
- verifiedActive Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in state of practice
