Application Instructions
To qualify with Baggett Transportation, candidates must meet specific criteria regarding age, driving experience, and safety records. Applicants must be at least 25 years old with one year of over-the-road driving experience in the last five years and must be able to pass a DOT physical. A clean driving record is essential, with restrictions on DUIs, DWIs, speeding violations, and preventable accidents. Additionally, candidates must pass drug and alcohol testing. Team drivers with Secret Clearance requirements must be U.S. citizens with no felony convictions or recent financial issues.
Compensation and Benefits
Baggett offers a competitive compensation package including a $3,000 sign-on bonus paid out over 90 days. Solo drivers earn 28% of line haul with an average pay of $0.62 CPM. Drivers are paid weekly via direct deposit and receive paid orientation worth $500 during orientation week. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance starting after 30 days, long-term and short-term disability, voluntary and company-paid life insurance, a 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
