About the Role
Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class A Tanker Driver to join our safety-conscious team in Linden, NJ. This position is designed for drivers who prioritize safety above all else, as Health and Safety is our #1 priority, lived 3-6-5. The role involves operating tractor-trailer tanker units on a route that extends from Linden throughout the Northeast and into Canada, averaging 60-65 hours per week.
Drivers in this role will be responsible for the proper loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, ensuring loads are secured and vehicles are placarded in strict accordance with Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Beyond driving, the position requires maintaining daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, as well as vehicle inspection reports.
