Regional Cross Border Class A Tanker Driver

About the Role

Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class A Tanker Driver to join our safety-conscious team in Linden, NJ. This position is designed for drivers who prioritize safety and take pride in operating tractor-trailer tanker units across the Northeast and into Canada. The route averages 60-65 hours per week, offering a dynamic schedule with weekly home time.

In this role, you will ensure the safe and compliant transport of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Your day-to-day involves operating tanker units, adhering to strict weight and utilization standards, and managing the proper loading, unloading, and securing of loads. You will also be responsible for placarding vehicles in accordance with Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, as well as maintaining accurate daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.

Compensation includes hourly wages for all on-duty non-driving time, with drivers averaging $90-$120K per year. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.
