DSA is seeking an exceptionally skilled Records Management Specialist to join a dynamic team supporting the U.S. Army. This role is integral to a cohesive support model where the government customer team partners closely with DSA and subcontractors to serve a varied customer base. Team members are respected and recognized for their critical contributions to organizational compliance and efficiency.
This position provides essential Records Management support within a structured environment governed by strict Army and Department of Defense (DoD) policies. As the organization's official Records Manager, you will develop, coordinate, and sustain the baseline Records Management (RM) Plan while overseeing the organization's broader RM strategy. Your day-to-day involves educating customers on the importance of records management, providing guidance on data retention and disposition, and ensuring adherence to Army Knowledge Management Principles.
You will monitor the RM program across all offices, offering training and advice to management and administrative personnel on setting up, maintaining, controlling, and disposing of files. The role requires maintaining current knowledge of DoD, DA, and ASA-ALT policies to ensure organizational compliance, as well as reviewing guidance for the implementation of Army Records Management. Additionally, you will prepare and deliver reports and status updates to government customers, utilizing both written and verbal communication.
