About the Role

Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in keeping our stores organized and ready for customers. As a Receiver/Stocker, you are responsible for the backbone of our inventory management, ensuring that products flow smoothly from the truck to the shelf. Your work directly impacts the customer experience by maintaining a well-stocked, clean, and organized sales floor and warehouse.

Day in the Life

Your day involves a mix of physical activity and organizational precision. You will receive shipments, unload trucks, and organize inventory in the stockroom. A key part of the role involves stocking shelves and building product displays to ensure items are easily accessible and visually appealing. You will also perform inventory counts and keep both the warehouse and sales floor organized.

For those working overnight shifts, the focus shifts to handling large shipments and preparing the store for the next morning. This involves intensive stocking and preparation work to ensure the store opens with fresh, full shelves. The role may require lifting heavy items and operating pallet jacks, and operating pallet jacks, making it a physically active position.

We offer a competitive pay rate of $16–$20 per hour. Depending on your location, overnight stocking shifts may include an additional $1–$2 per hour overnight pay differential.
