Receiver/Stocker

About the Role

Tractor Supply Co. is seeking dedicated Receivers and Stockers to join our team. This position is essential to maintaining an organized and well-stocked store environment, ensuring that merchandise is available for our customers and that the back-of-house operations run smoothly.

Day in the Life

As a Receiver or Stocker, you will play a key role in the daily operations of the store. Your responsibilities include unloading freight, organizing warehouse inventory, and stocking shelves. You will also build merchandise displays and assist with inventory counts to ensure accuracy.

A significant part of the role involves customer interaction, particularly helping customers load heavy merchandise such as feed or equipment. This can include items like feed or equipment, requiring physical effort and attention to safety. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store and stockroom, both in the store and the stockroom, to provide a safe and efficient workspace.

Overnight Opportunities

For those interested in overnight shifts, the role focuses heavily on stocking, organizing inventory, and preparing the store for the next day. This allows the store to be ready for customers when they open. Overnight shifts may include an additional pay differential depending on location.
